We’re looking for a Business Services Manager who enjoys bringing structure to big ideas, building strong relationships, and ensuring programs deliver meaningful results. Working alongside EDWC’s leadership team, you’ll help businesses, entrepreneurs, community partners, and borrowers navigate programs that make a real difference across Washington County.
A Role That Combines Strategy, Relationships, and Impact
No two days look exactly alike.
One day you may be coordinating a business program, meeting with community partners, or conducting borrower site visits. The next, you’ll be researching market data, preparing materials for leadership, or helping launch a new initiative.
You’ll be trusted to manage important details, keep projects moving, and create a positive experience for the businesses and organizations EDWC serves. Your work will directly support programs that strengthen Washington County’s economy and improve the customer experience for everyone who interacts with EDWC.
What You’ll Do
Manage business-focused programs from planning through execution
Coordinate participant, customer, and partner experiences across multiple initiatives
Oversee post-close servicing and compliance for EDWC’s Impact Loan Fund borrowers
Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting that supports business consulting and strategic projects
Help grow entrepreneurial and small business initiatives, including youth entrepreneurship programs
Coordinate contributor engagement activities and help strengthen community partnerships
Keep projects organized, moving forward, and focused on delivering exceptional service

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable taking ownership of important work.
Required
- Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, details, and follow-up items simultaneously
- Strong customer focus and ability to create professional, responsive experiences
- Demonstrated experience bringing diverse stakeholders together for successful achievement of a common objective
- Comfort with documentation, compliance tracking, process discipline, and practical problem-solving
- Strong communication, discretion, and follow-through
Preferred
- Experience with program management, organizing, business services, and/or customer experience in community settings
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in business, public administration, nonprofit management, community organizing, economic development, or a related area
- Comfort with CRM systems, spreadsheets, databases, surveys, reporting tools, and repeatable program templates
- Ability to execute research and analytics accurately and communicate findings in useful written, visual, or presentation-ready formats
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary
$75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities.
Incentive Compensation
Eligible for gainshare/bonus potential of up to 15% of base salary, with an additional 7.5% overperformance opportunity.
