EDWC recently closed a deal to support PartsBadger’ planned buildout of a facility to support its Fast Lane production program in West Bend.
The project includes the purchase and renovation of an existing industrial building and the installation of new CNC production equipment. By targeting the Impact Loan toward production equipment, EDWC is supporting the portion of the project that will directly expand manufacturing capacity and create new jobs.
About PartsBadger
PartsBadger is a technology-enabled CNC manufacturer that combines advanced manufacturing with proprietary software to simplify the custom machining process. The company’s Fast Lane program is designed to reduce customer lead times from approximately 20 days to as few as seven days while helping manufacturers respond more quickly to changing production needs.
Project Community Impact
The expansion is expected to create 30 direct jobs over the next two years. Beyond the jobs being created, the project makes higher and better use of an existing facility in the Wingate Creek Business Park rather than requiring new greenfield development. It also helps strengthen Washington County’s advanced manufacturing base while supporting a business model focused on faster quoting, AI-enabled production opportunities and greater supply chain resilience.
According to EDWC’s impact analysis, the project is expected to generate an estimated $1.23 million in public benefits over the next 10 years while reinforcing the county’s long-term economic growth strategy.

The Impact Loan Fund is designed to provide low-cost, flexible capital that works alongside traditional financing—helping businesses preserve cash, reduce lender risk, and complete projects that may not otherwise move forward.
As a revolving loan fund, repayments are reinvested into future projects, creating a self-sustaining, long-term engine for economic growth in Washington County.
