Deepening the Toolbox
The "Deepening the Toolbox" component of the EDWC’s strategic plan focuses on the objective of investing in, diversifying and deepening the County’s portfolio of economic assets, tools, and capital for enhancing local capacity to accelerate business growth.
Projects coming out of this program include:
- New tools and sources of funds to fuel your business
- New $2,000,000 locally-based Impact Revolving Loan Fund
- $500,000 flexible development high impact attraction fund
- Equity investment initiative
The toolbox committee was formed in 2011 to guide the creation of new tools like the ones listed above above for supporting growth companies of all sizes.
